Following a decade of research, a Seattle writer and her husband, an architectural designer and professional photographer, set out on a journey that would take them from the rugged peaks of the Pyrenees and snow-covered mountains of Bavaria to ancient hill fort mounds on the rolling hills of England and medieval ruins in Scotland. They were hoping to find physical evidence of a lost 5th and 6th century historical kingdom, one that could have been the source of the legends. Faded footsteps led them to the Merlin's cave.
Tales of King Arthur and his illustrious kingdom called Camelot have inspired writers, historians, artists and musicians for over 900 years.
